Anhydrous Calcium Chloride 94-97% is a purified inorganic salt produced by removing water from a naturally occurring brine solution.

 

Calcium chloride is an ionic compound of calcium and chlorine. It is highly soluble in water and it is deliquescent. It is a salt that is solid at room temperature, and it behaves as a typical ionic halide. It has several common applications such as brine for refrigeration plants, ice and dust control on roads, and in cement.

 

Calcium Chloride is used in establishing and maintaining oil and gas wells. It helps well fluids gain needed consistency, increases density and stabilizes shale formations. As a completion fluid it seals well casings and displaces drilling mud.
